Going live!
Please let Wert know before you go live so that the customer support team is ready to support your users.
Sign the agreement
Before going live, you will need to contact the Wert integration support team to sign an agreement and receive your production Partner Dashboard credentials and Partner ID.
Switch from sandbox
With the agreement signed, you will need to make a few changes to your parameters to move to production. Please do the following:
- Update the
partner_idparameter to match the new Partner ID provided. - Update the
originparameter tohttps://widget.wert.io. - Make any required changes to the
commodityparameter if you were using sandbox specific commodities.
For the NFT Checkout
If you are using the NFT checkout, in addition to the changes above, please do the following:
- Generate a keypair and send us your public key - you can find more details in our keypair creation guide.
- If required, verify your smart contract with Wert in the Partner Dashboard.
- Update your smart contract details in signed data.
Provide Domains for Whitelisting
In order for the widget to load in production, all domains or subdomains where the widget will be hosted must be shared with Wert.
Our team will whitelist these domains. If domains are not whitelisted, the widget will not open for your users.
🛠️ OTP & SMS Troubleshooting
1. Not Receiving Your OTP? Check Your Spam Folder
Sometimes, mobile carriers or device security settings mistakenly flag automated verification SMS as spam. If you haven't received your One-Time Password (OTP) within a few minutes, it may have been filtered automatically.
What to do: Please check the Spam & Blocked or Filtered folder in your messaging app.
How to check: If you are unsure how to find this folder on your device, you can refer to this handy Step-by-Step Guide for iPhone & Android.
2. Error When Requesting OTP? Virtual Numbers Not Supported
If you are seeing an error message when attempting to request or send an OTP, it is likely due to the type of phone number being used.
What to do: Please ensure you are using a standard, carrier-backed mobile phone number.
Important Note: Virtual numbers (VoIP) are strictly NOT supported by our system. To successfully receive your verification code, please do not use a virtual number and try again with a regular mobile number.
Testing live payments
It's always a good idea to check real payments before going live to your users. This can help to ensure everything is working as seamlessly on production as it did on Sandbox.
Please remember when testing live payments that each team member or test user should use their real details during profile creation and each person should only use their own cards and wallets to avoid any issues.
Please contact our support team if you experience any unexpected payment errors or follow the failure reason prompts displayed in the widget. For a full breakdown of error codes and what to do about them, see our Payment & KYC Troubleshooting guide.
